Nearly 5 years ago Todd challenged me to restore a sad Moon Mixer and after that, I really wanted to find the two other original cars in this series. Soon after I scored a mint Meter Cheater on Ebay that was said to be missing pieces (it wasn't) for $35 ! Since then I have been trying to find a Guber Wagon , but built ones are usually completely glue trashed , and there's been the same unbuilt ones NOT selling for the $220.00 asking price. So, one came up last week on Ebay, unbuilt, but missing one piece , for $199.00 or make offer. So I offered, and I got it for $55.00 shipped ! I'm really excited to finally get this , and really, this is possibly my last real grail kit - And the extra good news , Todd has the missing piece I need to build this little buggy ! So guys, never give up - it took me 5 years to get this kit at a reasonable price , but my waiting paid off .

...I can't believe the discount?! That's insane man! You're hard-pressed getting vendors the budge $5 let alone $150! GOOD JOB YOU! I think the best I ever did was $30 on the Entex 1/16 Corvette. Really Impressed that you did SO well!

What a deal! And you're right, bargains are still out there - you just need to look a bit harder, and push a bit harder, these days, and in less obvious places.
