This is the Stroker Mc Gurk tall T phone booth it came out after the Carl Casper phone booth show rod from 1966. I purchased this from ebay as a glue bomb. The phone booth had a lot of cracks that I repaired. Most of the parts were messed up with glue. So I went on line looking for parts and found out that the Mummy Machine uses the same chassis parts and engine. The only part that I could not find was the engine scoop, so I made one out of sheet plastic. So far I got all the parts airbrushed with decanted Tamiya red and silver. The only thing I got left to do is made the windows for the booth and glue everything together. Finished pics coming soon. Thanks for lookin'!

Show rods don't get much "showier" than that! I'm always interested in how the parts from one kit ended up in another - makes restorations a whole lot more manageable.

Now that gives "mobile phone" a whole new meaning!
It's a very nice restoration of a worthy subject - huge thumbs up!
