New member here! I'm Harley Richards, 65 years old, been building kits since I was old enough to hold a tube of glue, I started with military stuff then moved into cars and bikes, and now love building weird subjects, I live on the Isle of Man, I certainly recognise a few names here and Jim Richards was the guy who suggested I joined up - so I did!
That's probably enough for now but I certainly do have a candidate for the Build Bad Better contest. This little horror has been gathering dust for longer than I can remember and I'm not even sure how/ where/ why I got it. All will be revealed soon.

Yup, that Isle of Man. If you're even a little bit serious about a piece of road, that wouldn't be a problem as the track (which is, of course, a public road when the racing's not on) is regularly being patched and improved so there's always old bits of tarmac lying around. The start line might be a bit problematic (it's right opposite the main Police station) but name a corner and I'll see what's out there. |

Cool that you have something for the Contest.
That is a strange one, they are pretty rare, only seen them on ebay a couple times.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
