Here's my Tom Daniel Honest Engine , I always wanted to build one like this and really enjoyed it ! It's built right out of the box with only a few modifications as follows : 1-Relocated the headlight to allow adding the 45 single label 2-Added two flags to the front 3-Added a small chain to the whistle 4-Opened the coal tender so I could add the instruments 5-Mounted a custom bass drum skin in place of the parachute It's painted in a Red-White & Blue theme using Tamiya rattle cans . I used gold foil from a Revell Lunar Module kit and printed some custom decals for the stars , nameplates , woodgrain , and Grand Funk goodies . The drum kit was made from scratch using sheet plastic and coated wire for the stands . I was also making some guitars and mics until I realized it was getting too crowded in that tiny car !

Here is my finished Tijuana Taxi. This is a kit that I have wanted to build since I got back into the model building hobby in 2007. It was a fun build. I installed a prewired distributor on the engine.Paints uses were Tamiya orange on the main body, the violet is Krylon, and theres some Duplicolor influences as well as the old Faithful Molotow chrome pens on the trim work.It was a fun and simple build. It went together fairly easily.I highly recommend it if you need a slump buster build. Thanks for lookin'! Todd

Well looks like I'm about 5 minutes late posting these, hope I'm not DQ ued, LOL Only got one of my entries done, but this was the main one I wanted. It's the TD 1/32 Camaro F/C reissue, It's actually dark red, but my camera is color blind It's the raw plastic with TS-13 clear I moved the engine forward, then cut a hole in the hood, changed the blower and scoop, customized tires and wheels (as in my progress post) In keeping with the theme, a dedication to "Hot Wheels Bob" and Mr. Russell And this shows the true color of the car Box stock Chassis in the rear, to show how I moved the engine forward. To fill the gap between engine and cockpit, I used a resin belly pan from parts box. I sanded the plug boots off the Hemi valve covers and added Chevy decal Wheels not glued yet, that's why they are all crookedy Well it was 5 after when I started this post now it's 25 after (10 o'clock here) Hope I got it entered Thanks Jim One more shot with the flash
