Sometimes I interchange Hot Wheel wheels with each other, as in this case. I devised a way I can change wheels without taking the chassis off. The car on the left is the 86 T Bird Pro Stock, it has too small of wheels on the back and too big on the ft. The donor car on the right is the Volvo Gasser. I start by trimming around the blister to remove the car, but save the card and blister I have hundreds of the cards (don't ask me why) and the blisters make handy little parts bins. Here is the difference in wheels, the T Bird on the left Using a couple tools I modified, I pry the wheel all the way to one side. Then cut the axle Axles and wheels removed To replace the cut axle which is now too short, I use a common stick pin After test fit I cut the pin to length. I display most cars Driver side out, so I insert the pin with the pin head side on the Dr side Then using a blunt toothpick, I hold the pin head removing all the slack. Then glue the cut side with CA, then a drop of BSI accelerator. Now I have "Big and Littles" and the car still rolls. (not that it is important to me, sometimes I will glue them solid) It's hard to see in these pics, but we know they're there, LOL Then I did the same to the Matt and Debbie Hay T Bird, using the same donor car. This is the before: And the after: I will take a picture of the two side by side. Thanks Jim

Thanks Todd,
At $1.18 a piece they are still one of the cheapest projects I can do.
