A promise is a promise! Got three of these & 1 had been started, they'd sprayed it black! Bummer! Stripped it in the hope I could just clear-coat the body, but the original coloured plastic is too bleached. I'll end-up matching the colour I think?, & build it box-stock. Tried to give you a comparison with the photo but the light & reflection made the other two look even lighter again?  |

This is my favorite kit from this series ; I bought it back when I was a kid , no doubt because of the color. I finally got another one to replace my beat up original , which I still have. Keep us posted on your progress !

This looks very similar to the ZZ Top ford. This one has side pipes which is a really cool feature!

...Update: Most of the components are done. Really well fitting kit...except that the engine pulleys don't seem to fit in the allotted space when the engine is in place on the chassis? But it was an easy fix. Matched the original colour, couldn't resurrect the green plastic of 49yrs ago. Will start throwing it together over the next few days. Thanks.   |
