People are sure paying crazy prices for kits on Ebay these days, an open boxed Quicksilver recently sold for over $230 , $110 for a TD Street Vette , $102 for a built Dragon Wagon ! I'm glad I still have a stash of kits to build !

I know what you mean,Don. Some auctions fetch rediculous prices!!! I saw a Deals Wheels kit sell for $335 last night!!! (12-2-21). There is currently a glubomb Revellion that's up to $100!!! I could go on and on,but the current trend is higher than normal pricing for some of these model kits!!! It was more fun years ago with lots of deals to purchase or bid on. It seems to be more of a rich mans thing than an average Joe hobbyists thing currently ! Just my 2 cents USD!

It's gotten totally insane on eBay. The Tijuana taxi, is pretty much back to the prices before it was reissued....crazy. I've haven't bought kits in quite sometime on there. The quick silver junkyard builds are going for crazy prices too.

Ok, now I need to vent a little.
I bid on a built Swee Tee that ended yesterday (1-13-22). It wasn't listed as a Swee Tee in the listing, and the seller changed the items description to a Swee Tee DURING THE AUCTION. Not the title of the listing ,just the description. I bid high cause I got a good amount on a Visa card from my employer as my Christmas bonus. It still sold for $132 and some change!!!! I wasn't even the second highest bidder either!!!! Now that's nuts!!! Crazy EBay stuff going on lately!!!!
