Here is my latest build. It is the reissue from Model King made into the Snake Rail Dragster that Monogram made in the early 70's. I bought the decals off of an Ebay seller several years ago.The decals were challenging to apply at first, but they finally laid down ok.The rail's body is done in Duplicolor spray paint,as is the driver,he is detailed with model master paints.I did the engine color in a testors one coat shade of blue.I learned a new trick on sanding the tires with a cordless drill and 400 grit sandpaper.I saw that trick on a you tube video. Overall,it was a fun build, and I'm haappy with the build. It went together really well, and I hope to do it's sister Mongoose kit one day in the not too distant future! Thanks for looking! Oh,and thanks to Don for his Imgur photo host recommendation! Todd

...was this released, back in the day, as a double kit? Or am I getting it confused with the 'Mattel' funny cars, mongoose & snake kit? ...still, done good with the conversion man!

...was this released, back in the day, as a double kit? Or am I getting it confused with the 'Mattel' funny cars, mongoose & snake kit?! No,the dragsters were issued separately. The Funny cars were in a double double kit several years ago. The rail dragsters were in a Hotwheels drag racing set with the cars, track, starting and finishing gates, chute packs and chutes released in the early 70's. Todd
