I am about to score an original MPC Pirate Ship/Car,MPC's Jolly Rodger. I think I have seen a build done by our very own Keiran (Wobnob). No need to post other builds from other forums.I was just curious if anyone here has built one. Please post up pictures of it if you have a built one....Don't know when I'm gonna do it...But any model car kit with skeletons is cool. Here is a picture of the original's Box Art for your reference:

That's one kit I haven't built ; I didn't even know it existed until the reissues came out ! I think I read somewhere that MPC used the Beverly Hillbillies rod for the basics for this, but I could be wrong

...Yeah, did a heavily modified version. The kit itself was pretty straight forward if I remember right. The skeleton is from the lil' coffin & I was impressed with the basic chassis, engine & body work set-up,it looked quite good just on its own. The boat part made it a bit 'booty-heavy', so I cut mine back some.

Thanks guys!!! Don you are right that this kit is a reissue of the Beverly Hillbillies truck with a pirate ship and extras added to it. It looks like a cool little kit to build! Todd
