I am reposting this build.I finished this for a contest on the old Hawksplace board that several of us were members of. It is 1:12 scale, and it was hard to take pictures of.The helmet wants to capture every reflection in the room (it acts like a mirror). Any-hoo,the body paint is done in a shade of Tamiya red spray paint (no clear coat,I regret to say). All the rest except the seat is done in Duplicolor spray or Model Master bottle touch up paints. The seat is done in a "Faux MAster" mat black paint. It was the first and only time I used it...not a bad item,I just used it for this build.I still have the paint somewhere, lol.I decided to leave it Decal-less...The sheet looked iffy,so I passed.Besides,as a car-model building community,if you don't recognize this showrod, you must not know cars, because it is one of the most famous showrods in the world! This was one of my all time favorite builds...Easy to paint and put together.I kept it simple, although I may dress her up more in the future,I love it the way it is now!
NOTE : Photos removed by server when they shut down.
Thanks for looking!
