These Lindberg kits were originally just one 3 in 1 kit, but in the 70s Lindberg issued the same kit with three different box arts , even though inside they were all the same except decals The kits were the Time Bomb, Mind Blower and the oddly named Ford Fooler . I built a Time Bomb kit when I was a kid .My original was molded in butterscotch , a color which I liked . I wanted to build a replica of my old kit, but the only ones I could find were molded in bright yellow. I finally was able to get some 1971 Plymouth butterscotch paint which is a dead match. The only difference I made to the kit was use the hood and cut out the radiator shell so the gas tank would fit. These aren't hard kits to build, but they are fun to work on while waiting for another kits paint to dry ! [

The Mind Blower was built a couple of years back , and the decals were very brittle- What you see there are beautiful copies made by Hotwheels Bob !

Yes , there is the one block, but each kit comes with three different intake setups and three different exhaust pipes. he Time bomb isn't supposed to use the hood, windshield or radiator shell , but I think it looks better with them . The radiator and headlights are one molded piece with a small chrome insert ; I just cut the lights off and hogged out the center plastic on the shell.

Todd I think Lindberg first released this kit in the late 950s , and with clever marketing ,they sure got plenty of mileage out of it ! My only peeve would be the wheels ; they would look better without the moon caps , but they were original to the kit, and I wanted them as box stock as possible
