So,I recently attended the IPMS model contest/swap meet in Indy. I bought some cool stuff, amongst them was a Mystery Model Car custom build that was done in the 60's.It is a very respectable build.I cleaned it up and reattached some things that came undone through the years. So,any extra input as to what this build is from you all would be appreciated. It looks like a kitbash of a few kits. The headers throw me,though.Believe me,I have searched the net for ANY information I can find on this thing.I believe a lot of it is AMT's '32 Ford Victoria kit, which eventually became the L'il Vicky kit.I believe the grill is from the original AMT 3 in one kit,the '29 Model A Ford Roadster kit, which had the showrod Ala Kart as a build option. It is a really cool build, and who can complain for the $10 price tag???!!!! Not for sale,I have 'er in a display case where she deseves to be!!!! Here are some pix:The builder even put bucket seats in the back, which really adds to its coolness!!! Ha Ha!!! Todd

Todd, whacha got yourself there is half of a two car kit by AMT , it came with the 32 Ford and a 40 Willys coupe . It came with the buckets , headers and Edsel grille . Its definitely an oldie, and really a goodie !

I recently bought a box of the original release of this fantastic 2 in one kit.I have two images to share, the second one has an artists version of the custom interior.Who knows, maybe Round two will discover the old molds for the '32 Ford Sedan from this era.We can only hope!!!I eventually plan on doing some type of display in a case with a photocopied box art as it's backdrop.Stay Tuned!!
