My family and I were just on vacation in San Diego on a company paid trip from my wife's employer.....We were dining at a restaurant by San Diego's bay when I spotted this odd contraption zooming past the sailboats in the bay....I was fortunate enough to catch the name of the vessel as it whizzed past us... It doesn't have much history on it other than it is a retired ride attraction from San Diego's "Sea World" that the owner bought and restored.....Here it is: I emailed the owner and he didn't give me much info....I asked about more pics/spec and he was not about to give me any info on this...directed me to his website which also doesn't have much info on this boat car...So,I wouldn't recommend emailing him....seemed kinda standoffish, sad but true!

At first I thought it was a highly modified Crosley , but the second picture looks like its a fiberglass body - too bad the guy wouldn't say much about it though...
