.....my hope is,as I finish the Norton (spokes are done),I'll have the Lindberg to take up the slack?? I'll post some pics in a coupla' daze.The aim is to restore it to it's original wheel base & get rid of that horrible 'truss-type' suspension,which was designed for a motorized toy....which is what it is? To it's credit,the detail ain't that bad & the body's close to spot-on,scale-wise. SO! The diff has 'evolved' into a torsion bar,independant 'quick change'type,guards have been somewhat fashioned,front end has been drastically shortened & suspension re-jigged.I'm hoping all this will result in a stockish looking 1936 Fiat Topolino....with a Chrysler 413-440 RB. Pics soon.

....My original plan & the reason I'd bought it,was to put this in it.....

....as it needed a home,then I thought I'd fix the Chrysler engine up,that came with it,but after doing all this....

....I'm running out of puff & I'll go back to plan 'A' using the Camaro donk......P.S,the steering & suspension all work too!

...a re-amendment of a re-amendment.I'm back to the Chrysler motor again,I would have had to modify the chev (1 exhaust pipe) couldn't bring myself to do it!
Does anyone know what lies beneath the 'Cross Fire' manifolds on a Chrysler?specifically the valley cover,is it just a plate covering the cam/rods etc,or is it something else? Thanks!

....Thanks man,the suspension is constantly subject to change (pretty obvious that!) but 'change' as in modifying it as components are added.I don't mind the Topolino's,I jagd an 'Acme' 1/18 metal kit for bugger-all 'cause the box was dented,I got it for $28,the nearest I'd seen was up in the high 50's.

....By the way fellas,those 'hand's free' mobile phone ear plug/mic arrangements,strip the outer plastic sheath off it & it's got scaled-down braided line,not the twisted together stuff,but braided.
