....do others get p'd-off at people who take a perfectly good built or unbuilt vintage kit & part it out? There's a bloke junking a '72 Charger & you can see he's had to prise it apart to achieve his ends which is to charge stupid money & in all likelihood be left with a handful of parts that won't sell because at those prices you'd by a $10 '71 Charger & modify it. whinge complete...& HI ALL!

It ticks me off as well ! Theres one guy on Ebay who tears apart recent (within 10 years) kits and tries to get $8.00 plus shipping for an intake manifold when you can buy a whole kit for the same, and theres another guy who continually buys annual and Johan kits, strips the paint off and takes them apart and asks ridiculous prices ! He tore apart a Johan Hornet funny car at least a year ago. He was selling most parts in the 20.00 to 30.00 dollar range and some fools bought some of the parts, but he has had the taillights on Ebay since then at $24.00 plus shipping ! He never goes down in price and I figure one day he will just throw them away since he didn't get what he wanted

Yes,this practice perturbs me as well......I especially notice it when I narrow a newly listed search in the automotive models section to say,"Hot rod",and usually by the second page there is part after individual part listed....I just want to see kits....I guess if buyers continue to buy parts at ridiculous prices, then sellers will keep on doing it!!!!
