I found out that the decals for one of my builds for the contest were no good-Even though they looked good, they just fell to bits (they are over 40 years old ! ) I bought some Testors decal bonder and tried it on some other older decals but that didn't do anything , so I bought a bottle of Micro Scale decal film . This stuff really works ! I brushed it on one of the decals and let it dry on , soaked it, and after a while it slid right off the paper ! I was able to use some Solvaset on them as well. These decals are pretty big , and so far the 4 I put on worked fine . If you have some old decals I would definitely pick up a bottle of this and try it out !

....what if you go over the edges of the decal, does the stuff fuse it to the paper backing & 'snag'it?
