Here is my vintage 1966 Revell Thames Drag Panel.I added a distributor magneto to it,and it has a couple of custom "Mountain Dew" decals on it that Bob made for me.It is good ol Revell Molded metallic green (No paint on the body).It has duplicolor paints on the chassis,engine,and interior.It was a fun build,and not near as finicky as some of the reviews that I have read on it.

Ok, now that I've seen how great you builds look, I'll get off my butt and post my entry. This was a reissue of Revell's old Willys ,and it really showed its age. There was flash everywhere resulting in a ton of sanding. Jim hooked me up with some door hinges as mine were junk. I know these kits are finicky, but this one gave me fits - The floor when correctly installed would not allow the doors to shut. I ended up chopping both sides out and putting some wafer thin plastic down the side of the floors. The rear suspension would not sit right no matter how I tried. It fell apart on me, and after a few days of cooling off I assembled it without looking at the instructions- it went much easer that way ! The rims were sprayed with dullcote to make them look like aluminum wheels. The car is painted Testors Custom Lacquer pink over a Krylon silver base.I think it closely matches the box art -It has to be better than the lavender it was molded in ! LOL
