OK, now, ya want to build your own frame, Z one, stretch one out, speaker boxes, whatever, your tired of trying to find just the right jig, for all your needs, most the material, pretty much can be got, walmart, ummmmm??? I got the magnetic sheet metal and the magnets offa paybay, E-Bay, for just under 10 bux, without shipping. and yes, the magnets are earth magnets, and are strong!!!!, my only issue with them? I got to small of ones, think these are like 10.mm long x 5mm wide, so get bigger then that, not to big, ya need room for control, now the size of this sheet is 12?high X 8" wide, I used black duct tape, around the edges, don't matter what ya use, just so long as it is thick enough, to keep the edge from cutting ya, and if ya think it wont happen, then guess what? yer gonna get cut, count on it, then using my scale ruler, I made, and printed me a few graf sheets, about a inch longer then the actual frame, and wide enough to draw the frame flat, and both left and right, side, my base for this is I used the body of a '65 Impala kit, now ya can draw right on the graf paper, anything ya want, say a Z'd frame, using the material ya got to build the frame, just trace it right on the paper, use the magnets to set it all in place, they WILL HOLD!, i got 20 of the Lil boogerz, now I also have 2 6" metal rulers I got from, Widgetsupply.com, great prices on ALLOT of things for the builder, anyway, using the magnets to hold yer graf, ya can slide them around, till ya get exactly what yer after, this is what I used to perfectly stretch a frame I needed, and true square. be sure to get bigger magnets, hard to get these lil snot balls offa the metal, unless ya pull the whole sheet up.
