For those of you who know me , a Chevy is not one of my favorite brands , so I don't build many- and those that I do, none are ever Camaros, and definetely not late model ones ,and never a snap kit ! So why is this late model Chevy Camaro snap kit one here ? This was given to me by my daughter for a fathers day gift. Her Brownie troop had the girls pick out gifts for their dads, and this was mine. She said I had to paint it pink and purple and paint it like my "Miss Deal" build. So here it is, Testors Custom Lacquer pink with a fade to Testors Custom purple. She was so excited to see how it came out. This is one Camaro that will stay on my shelf ; like the ad says...priceless

Hey Don, Ouch ! I'm a Chevy guy (even though I don't like labels) having three, Two trucks and a 72 Camaro. So let me lick my wounds before I compliment you on your build. haha Nice job on the fade, especially using spray paint, that's not easy, even with an airbrush. But as I said in other threads you did a good job on your others also. I don't have any kids, so the next time your daughter wants to give someone a Chevy.....haha Seriously, I know you made her happy, just building anything she gave you. And by the way, if it makes you think anymore of me, I grew up in a Mopar household, my Dad had (at various times) a 67 Coronet 440, a 69 Daytona (that's right, I rode around in a Daytona) and my favorite a 1970 Coronet R/T. and a couple Dodge vans. He also had a 70 Corvette(but you don't want to hear about that) but you'll be glad to know he traded that in on the R/T (after he raced the owner of the dealership and the R/T won) Sorry didn't mean to hijack your thread here, but just remember, Outlaw Bikers have feelings too.....haha Good Job Don! Jim No problem Jim - I had to grow up in a Ford family ,but they were all big 4 door sedans . My dads friend had a son that had two 70 Boss 302 Mustangs that I got to ride in back in 1972. I remember later on he traded them BOTH in on a 4 door 74 Satellite -UGH !
