We will never forget that day.....I remember it like it was yesterday!!!! My wife was approximately 6 weeks away from having our third child,I was just cleared by my Dr. to go back to work full time after a lengthy recovery from foot surgery when I heard two nurses say "I just heard that something hit the World Trade center in New York"....that was the FIRST tower....Then I signed the paper work at the doctors office....hurried to a local McDonalds which had a TV,and watched in utter disbelief! The second tower was just hit before I got to McDonalds to watch the events unfold......To this day I am saddened by the nearly 3ooo people that lost their lives......
I then went to work....My co-worker Joe went home to be with his family.....I stayed as long as I could that day,but,man was it tough!

It sure was a rough time. I was on my first day of vacation and we had planned on painting the house. .My wife woke me up to tell me a plane hit the Trade center. I thought it was a small plane that had an accident, and as I watched the news I saw the second plane go in . We hoped they could get the fires out, but then the towers collapsed...we were too stunned to do anything .

I'm looking for old kits to restore!
