that's GREAT news ! Its one of my grails, I built this one as a kid, and I've always wanted one to replace it. The box art is so cool on it, its no wonder I grabbed it off the shelf !

....it's Great to see these older kits coming back, the 1/12 Camaro's been re-released as well. It's quite funny watching the amount of 'hard to get' kits being dumped on Ebay the minute a re-release is in the wind.

I just got mine today ,and for the first time with Round 2 I'm a little disappointed. The kit quality itself is top notch and the extra glass is nice, but the decals are way off in the color. Instead of light orange with pale yello green lettering, it has dark red orange with lime green letters . It might seem petty, but this is a grail I've been waiting for many years, and I really wanted to build it in the same color scheme as I did when it was first released .

Don, I don't think Round2 can do anything other than send you another set of decals.Who knows, maybe yours are "defective". See if Bob has the Bugaboo decal file.We all know how good his decals are! If not I will provide two links courtesy of modelcitizen from the Coffin Corner....Gooche Made the Bugaboo decals, and it is still in their files.... public.fotki.com/rwildeone/model-reference/model-box-art-and-i/decal-scans/billy-gooche-decals/
The thread below has their e mail addy posted by modelcitizen: coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/18929/get-vintage-decals
Hope this helps.Todd

Thanks for the tips, Todd . I'm going to have to do something , but for now theres a lot more that needs building so its stuffed on the shelf with the others. I dont know if its just me, but when something like this happens I just lose all interest in it and it gets shelved. Years ago I bought a Ford Galaxie kit. The box art was green, and I wanted to paint it like the box art. I open the kit and the whole kit is molded in cherry red plastic ! I got so bummed I put it on the shelf and it sat for 20 years or so -I finally traded it off .
