After 33 years ,this was to be my last derby . My 10 year old son wanted to help buld one ,so I picked up this 1995 Buick Regal. It was abandoned by a drunk driver after he smashed up the radiator support. It had 61,000 original miles on it . It took a lot of time to build; if anyones done these ,you know it isnt just smashing windows out, but we got it done in time. Long story short, I win the heat and $50.00 , in the feature it came down to me and two Crown Vics ,but the Buick came though with a win and $1000.00 cash ! With my wife out on medical leave, that will come in very handy .
