I created this special board some time ago. I have a bunch of builders that I didn't build.Some are restoration candidates,some are displayable projects.Some,like the builders of the "Cherry Bomb" or "Horn Toad" pictured below are displayable "as is". So I encourge all of our board members to use this board as you see fit,whether to show off your reatoration,or any builders that you are proud of!!!!!
         I bought the Mean Maverick earlier this year. It's missing several parts,but the thing is as rare as hens teeth,and the price was right!!!!

Interesting thread . I've got so many restorations I could fill this place up quick so maybe I'll just stick with the old builders I have sitting around , will take some pics and get back to you .  WOW I didn't know that you found a Mean Maverick . looks in great condition too ! I can see the missing engine parts but what else does it need ? |

Nearly all my builds are restorations now and you guys have seen most of them , but I'd love to see what you guys have redone ! |

Here's my offering. The 1/8 Jag,1/8 Corvette & the 1/8 golden 'T'  ...the F1 Honda, Tyrrell, JPS Lotus, 430 Merc, Mach1 Mustang, Bentley. All 1/12  Mean Maverick  Dr.Seuss, Snoppy, Monogram Slant 6 (which I think I posted after its clean-up earlier?)  Protar 1/9: Matchless, Benelli, BMW sidecar, Gilera, Moto Guzzi Linear, & the Nagano Z900 Kawasaki  1/8 Trans Am  All are pretty much complete, with the loose bits bagged-up. |

There are some TD kits I know I will probably never get and the MM is one of them. But I have over 70 TD kits so I can't be upset I don't have them all. But Kudos to you that have it, it's a cool kit and a treasure.
Plus I need to get my Rodfather back together so that I am an active member in that Club and not just honorary.
No handshakes, or fancy undies, just a menacing scowl. (LOL)

Those that dig clean undies ...while wearing the complimentary, & stylish, 'Tom Daniel's head' rubber mask. And then, when you hit 33-degree Mean-Mason-Maverick? It's commando time! If you get to 37-38 degrees? You probably have an infection.
70 Tom Daniel kits! Now that's impressive! How many of his designs are there? (kit form) I'd seriously like to know?
The undies would turn that scowl upside ...dowel? Jim!
