I never saw these built as the Luminators , they look cool ! I'll bet they really pop under a black light . I had quite a few of the first series of these snap kits when I was a kid in the early 1970s , I never got the Gremlin ,and of course that's the tough one to get these days .

I'm glad there's people like yourself that put these novel kits out there Jim, otherwise I normally wouldn't notice them? I think Todd posted, a while back now, one from the 1/32 palmer kit series that came up brilliant, the 'T-Bomb'? And again, I wouldn't have gone looking for them. But, after seeing someone put the effort into completing these kits properly? You can then appreciate them. So THANKS!

Always nice to hear from you Kieran I bought these a long time ago and planned on painting them. But you know it can be difficult to paint clear type of plastic. Then Atlantis re released them in conventional plastic, I thought it would be cool to build these "quickly" (we know how that goes LOL) Sure glad you enjoyed them. Jim

Thanks Don, You are so right. they really are neat looking under a blacklight, or should I say "Far Out Man" LOL I never did build these first time around, I was always in to 1/32, but some how missed these. The first time I saw these was when they came out as Luminators. Glad Atlantis re released them, I thought they were going to do the Gremlin, because you're right that is a tough one to get. So, as a Tribute to you my friend ( I know you're a Mopar guy) I'm going to post the Duster first under Black light. Jim

These do look good under the Black Light (I bought one just for these) but can't capture the actual look on film, so here's the best could do, and they still look kinda cool. I took a bunch of pics of these, so I'll do each car separate. Here's the Duster first Under the BL, with black background With the BL coming up from bottom, sitting on my light box BL coming from ft, with "black" back drop This is on the light box with white bulb shining up Hope you guys think these are groovy Thanks Jim

Thanks Todd, Glad I could peg the Cool meter, It's been a while, LOL Here's the Camaro, my favorite body style, but didn't photograph as well. Getting good pictures under blacklight is tough, but then I have a 10+ year old, $99 point and shoot. I got one more I'll post soon Thanks Jim

Here is my last Luminator I originally had two of each kit, but when they were re issued in regular plastic, I sold 1 Duster and 1 Mustang to get the new releases. Second Gen. Camaros are my Favorite, so I kept them both Here is what I did with the second Luminator I used a grey chassis from a new release instead of the glow one I widened the slicks and deepened the back rims. Other wise box stock. Thanks Jim
