Model kits are sure going for crazy prices these days ! I'm glad I got what I have back when Ebay was a place to get a deal . Who would have ever thought common kits would bring in $50.00 or more ? Red Baron, Beer Wagon, etc. and now the reissues like the Dragon Wagon and Tijuana Taxi are skyrocketing ! The only kits it seems you can get cheap these days are 90s Nascar kits.

And it cant be because there are all these new builders popping up , the hobby has gone way down in popularity since the computer age , and I would think nobody is going to build a kit they paid so much for - maybe people think its an investment ?

Thats crazy money right there ! Between paying 3.25 for a kit when I was a kid, and my Scottish heritage, theres no way I could sink that money into a kit
