I actually got some paint on the Koach this weekend . I'm not happy with my choice of kits; its not a very detailed kit ; it reminds me of some of those old 1/32 scale Aurora kits . It IS the Musters Koach however , so I will slog through it !

Thanks for the insult Don, I love those old 1/32 Aurora kits, I just bought two more, now I have 8. I was gonna post them.................. Post away Jim ,I love them too ! My point was that in the scale the Koach is, I would have thought it would have had a lot more detail ; the 1/32 scale Aurora kits being smaller ,didn't always have the details a larger kit could have. The same could be said about the old Lindberg kits, and I built quite a few of those too. The Koachs chassis is pretty sad, in my opinion - no separate parts , no rear diff or front end pieces whatsoever. I guess I expected a lot more from AMT in this scale kit . I didn't mean to throw insults !! |
