...just started on the 'Big T' 40+yr old & I'm suprised at the lack of detail? I've only started on the motor & when I compare it to the 1/12 Lindberg or even some of 1/25 kits it's a bit sparce in the detail department,I thought they'd at least have a sand-cast finish on the block & gearbox? None! The lack of nut & bolt heads is a bugger too,so that's been the main input, making numerous ones of those.Did they change the molds in later years to remedy this, has anyone had experience with the later versions? Just a whinge I felt like having,Thanks!

Sounds like Monogram spent so much in the tooling and the extra Big T goodies-(display stuff,etc)- they skipped over some of the finer details. This model was conceived a long time ago,and who knows what the people used before it's molds were cast..Yeah,it would be nice to have more detail, but that would be right up your scratch building imagination alley, right Keiran? You can do it!!!! Todd
