I was looking for a simple build,and a different model brand than the usual stuff that I choose to build.Then I chose a simple Lindberg kit this past Saturday night.It is Lindberg's "Kustom Coffin",a simple re-release of an old dirt track racer.Fast forward a few hours later....Tony Stewart hits a guy ON A DIRT RACING TRACK,and the 20 year old guy he hit dies...Now,I am from Indiana,as is Tony Stewart.This has been all around the local news for the last couple of days (as well as the National news).I am not a Tony fan,but he is my brothers favorite Nascar driver.Here is a picture of the kit's box I art I WAS going to start on,but I am now shelving....just too eery for me to build now.Too ironic that I had chosen this,and the whole thing is just bad Karma for me personally right now!

I will attempt to post a You Tube video of the incident where Kevin Ward Jr. was killed after Tony Stewart hit him this past Saturday night.

I know exactly how you feel Todd ! Many years ago I bought an aftermarket set of Nascar decals for a kit I wanted to build. I had never used anything but kit supplied decals and I was thinking it will be cool to have a kit that wasn't available yet. I was halfway through building the #7 Hooters car when I heard the news of Alan Kulwickis death. I put the kit away for a long time. Like you said, too eerie

Actually,Steve O, I don't think I am ever going to build it....Still a little to creepy for me to even look at it right now!
