I finally got a chance to clear coat my entry last night. I found out one of the door hinges is junk, due to excess flash so I emailed Revell to see if they can ship a replacement- its the same kit as their current Willys truck . While I wait I can work on the chassis !

Well that works for me- I jinxed myself saying "all is well" I messed up the rear arm installation and on top of that , after struggling for days trying to make the doors shut ( Ok, Jim you can laugh now ! ) I ended up having to chop both sides of the floor out .You gotta love these old Revell kits !!!

Hey Don, Like I said before, I would never laugh at you, but I will laugh with you. If you think getting those to open and close is challenging, gluing them shut isn't as easy as it sounds. That's one reason I don't like to give progress reports, always comes back to bite me, you know where. Hang in there.

Right now I'm putting one part on a night just because the darn thing keeps disintegrating on me whenever I do some work on it. If it wasn't painted already I think it would have hit the basement wall by now..
